Tom has been a Project Management Professional since 2002. He has been active in updating PMI’s Organizational Project Management Maturity Model standard and in developing the Certificate in Associate Project Management. 

Tom has trained thousand of project managers and consultants across a wide range of topics. His knowledge, energy, and facilitation skills create a motivating environment for learning project management basics, advanced techniques, and the PMP® Exam preparation course. 

Tom has over 20 years of project management and consultant experience with IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and dozens of clients. He has put the theory to practice in the real-world and understands which techniques work best in a given situation. 

Tom has a master’s and bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana.
